Look Back

When not able to write ahead, it helps to look back. In my case I had written a paragraph ahead of the story. What I needed to do was add a section of exposition (talking) presenting some facts. In going back, I realized that I could insert a section where a 'tour' of the surroundings could be done. This allowed for character interaction, story development, and other things that enabled me to present the facts in an entertaining manner.

One should not face a writer's block with the mentality of bursting through it. I have found in my own experience that a writer's block is usually due to my mind indicating that it has a problem in 'channeling' the story. One reason might be a re-imagining of certain story points. Another reason however is that there is a problem in where you are at in the story, so you need to look back and find out the problem with the 'journey' that prevents the tale from advancing.

Often called "magical foods", negative calorie foods are quite simply fruits and vegetables which it takes your body more calories to digest then the item itself contains giving the food a negative calorie value.

These are the food anyone trying to cut their caloric intake would be well advised to add to their diet; Asparagus, Beet Root, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery, Chicory, Hot Chilies, Cucumbers, Garden cress, Garlic, Green Beans, Lettuce, Onions, Radishes, Spinach, Turnips, Zucchini, Apples, Blueberries, Cantaloupes, Cranberries, Grapefruit, Honeydew, Lemons, Limes, Mangoes, Oranges, Papaya, Peaches, Pineapples, Raspberries, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Tangerines, and Watermelons.

The footnote: Drinking ice cold water, which contains no calories, slightly lowers the body temp. Your body is then forced to burn calories to raise it back to normal, giving the water a negative calorie value.

Wow that is very impressive. I actually do eat a few things from that list. But I'm pretty sure that if you eat them with a lot of dressing or sauce it wouldn't have that effect on you would it? You know like spinach on a creamy sauce etc.

The foods themselves would still have a negative calorie value, but the dressing/sauce is still whatever it is. That is actually where most people go off track when adding salads to their diet plan.

Interesting I didn't know that.
I should try that, even though I'm underweight, but that's okay.
